I think everything in this kind of disease called writer’s cramp is strange: the symptoms, the behavior of the hands and arms when they are activated to perform a simple task such as writing or using cutlery, and finally all feelings touched upon and stimulated.
What is strange to me is exactly strive my best to write or perform a simple task and can not. The weirdest thing of this disease is the major difficulty to adapt and feeling of being unable to be invalid.
According to my experience, what is weirdest of my illness to people is the stiffness of the hands, compensatory postures and hand aberration or crippled hands.
But even being disabled, living with writer’s cramp, I managed to study, finish the course of Psychology and have worked so far.
