Wordless Wednesday

Today’s Prompt: Art project! This project doesn’t even require you to get your hands dirty!

I did my word cloud on “Word it out” because of technical problems. I just could not paste the code into my  own blog  to link to my wordle. Even so, I made a word cloud on Worldle. You can see it by clicking on the following link: A word cloud on my blog.

Misinformation about Writer’s Cramp

Today’s Prompt: Tell us 3 things that are true about you, your condition, or your Health Activism.  Tell us 1 lie. Will we be able to tell the difference?

A  big lie about writer’s cramp:

The cause of writer’s cramp is due to psychological and emotional distress. The Writer’s cramp is a  “Conversion disorder with motor symptom or deficit” (ICD 10 F 44.4). It is a professional neurotic disorder due to a repetitive effort.

The three things that are true about my health condition are as follows:

1 – The writer’s cramp is a neurologic movement disorder related to a  task-specific  disorder and has no cure yet.

2 – Dystonia becomes a source of disability, a source of pain considering that disease diagnosis is often late, a source of anxiety and a source of despair.

3 – The patient should become an actor of your treatment,  It should be well informed of the disease, having  knowledge of the entire disease process and possible treatments and each case must be treated uniquely.

We need to  avoid spreading misinformation about our health condition!
